“Do You Want to Get Well?”

February 2, 2011 10 comments

All over the world people are STILL experiencing the miraculous healing power of Jesus Christ. In North and South America reports of cancer and massive tumors are INSTANTLY disappearing when people call upon the name of Jesus. Diabetes, blindness and deafness, arthritis, chronic back problems, cystic fibrosis, etc all going away through the power of Christ. In Africa there are accounts of paralytics and cripples miraculously standing up, walking, then running jumping and dancing before the Lord who healed them. There are also reports that people are being delivered from evil spirits in Africa. Even in China Christs healing power is seen where there have been numerous eye witness accounts of people rising from the dead all by the power of the name of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.

Jesus can, desires to, and WILL do the same for you TODAY! In John 5 Jesus asks a man who had been paralyzed for almost 40 years what seemed to be a foolish question; “Do you want to get well?” What kind of question was that? The man had been bed ridden for decades! Of course he wanted to be healed. But you see the problem was that this man kept making excuses. After this man went on a rant about how everyone got their blessing before he could, how he cant do anything, and no one would help him Jesus simply looked at him and said, “Stand up and walk.” and thats exactly what he did.

Jesus wants to heal you right now wherever you are, whatever you need. All you need is the power of a willing healing savior(which you already have)and faith. Jesus often responded to those who were healed, “your faith has healed you”, or “as you believed, so it will be done unto you.” Reach out in faith and receive your healing. Christ commanded his followers to pray for the sick. Thats exactly what I want to do. This blog is created so that you can receive your healing right NOW! Simply type your need as a comment to this post and I will pray for you. WHEN Jesus heals you, please feel free to leave another comment sharing what the Lord has done for you.

God bless!

“The Church is FULL of Hypocrites!” This is false.

One of the most common objections and charges brought against the Church is that it is full of hypocrites. This is false. I know, that’s a substantial claim. First let me define what I mean by the word, “hypocrite”. If a Christians wakes up at 2am for a late nights snack and while wondering around in the dark stubs his toe and lets a four letter cuss word slip out, he is not a hypocrite. That was an accident, a mistake. He doesn’t make a habit of using profanity. He let his flesh get the best of him in that moment. However, if a Christian constantly has profanity rolling from his tongue, sleeps around, lives a life of drunkenness, gossip, anger, selfishness, and willingly knowingly continues to live a life of Sin while claiming to be a follower of Christ, that person is a hypocrite, and people maintain that the Church is full of them. This is because of their misunderstanding of the Church. People think that the Church is the four square building with a steeple on top of it. They think that the people in the Church are the people who sit on the pues on Sundays. The Bible says that the Church is the Body of Christ which consists of only true believers(1 Corinthians 12:12-30). Hypocrites are pretenders among God’s people like goats among sheep, bad fish among good fish, weeds among wheat until the day when God separates them at Judgment. The Bible says that hypocrites are false converts, false brethren, and imposters(2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Galatians 2:4, 2 John 1:9-11). Christians are commanded in 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 not to have anything to do with hypocrites. Jesus said that they would end up in Hell(Matthew 24:51). In short, there are no hypocrites in the Church. If a person is hypocrite, they are not a Christian, and are therefore not part of the Church.

Do I NEED to be Baptized in the Holy Spirit?

Before Jesus ascended to Heaven he commanded his disciples to go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel. However, you will notice that he instructed them not to carry out the “great commision” immeditely.

“I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
-Luke 24:49

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

-Acts 1:4-5

Jesus made it clear. Altough he wanted his followers to continue his mission in his absence and go out into to the world to do the work of the ministry, he did not want them doing this without the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The reason being is because the work of the ministry as well as the life of a Christian is tough work as it is. In addition to this, there are outside forces internal, external, and spiritual working against us. We need to be Supernaturally Empowered to do what we are called to do. Jesus also told his followers that this was indeed the purpose of the Spirits Baptism.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

-Acts 1:8

That is why I teach that being Baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of Speaking in Tongues is the most important thing that can happen to a person next to being Born Again. I say, and as you can see our Lord does too, that once a person becomes a Christian they should immediately begin seeking the Baptism in the Holy Spirit so that they may be empowered to do the work God was called them to do, and be the person God has called them to be. If you have not received this blessing, seek it today.

“My God” wouldn’t send anyone to Hell.

For those who have said something similar to this statement, do you realize what you are doing when you say that? By saying, “my god wouldn’t…”, or “my god would…” you are creating a god to suit yourself. The Bible calls that Idolatry. God has clearly revealed himself and who he is in his Word. When we make up an image in our heads that is contrary to what the Bible reveals about him we make a False God. You may claim that your god wouldn’t send anyone to Hell and your right. Thats because he doesn’t exist. The Bible says that no Idolater will inherit the kingdom of God. God is a just god. The Bible says that when we die we will all have to face God at Judgment. On that day he will expose and bring out into the open everything we have ever done, said, and even thought about and bring them into judgment under the light of God’s Law(the Ten Commandment). Then there will be no excuses, no way to justify ourselves. The evidence against will be plain, and indisputable. The verdict of “Guilty” will be certain, and the Judge will give us our just punishment in Hell. Thank God that he sent his Son Jesus to pay the penalty for our crimes on the cross. He paid our debt, paid our fine. If we turn from our sins(repent) and trust in the Savior, will be forgiven, cleanses, pardoned, set free, and granted Eternal Life in Heaven. We will also be Born Again, given a new life, and a new heart. How much time do you have left?
